Human Trafficking
In Yemen, a Sudanese morgue worker at Sana’a University used his position to use sixteen women. Mohammad Adam Omar, 48, was arrested May 17, 2000, following the persistent complaining by the mother of an Iraqi student who mysteriously disappeared December 1999. After his arrest, the lethal morgue worker confessed to killing fifty-one women in Lebanon, Kuwait, Nigeria, Yemen, Jordan, and Sudan over a 25-year period. In Yemen, Omar confessed to killing sixteen women, eight of whom were students at the university. He said he took them to the university's morgue where he hit them hard on the head until they died. Then he skinned them. He also said he cut off the hands and feet of his victims, dissolved them in chemicals and kept their bones as mementos and used it for human trafficking.
According to the UNODC “Human Trafficking is a crime against humanity. It involves an act of recruiting, transporting, transferring, harboring or receiving a person through a use of force, coercion or other means, for the purpose of exploiting them” (online) .
Recently, human trafficking has taken place in our society which is not going to help us as a people who want to live in a good and safe place. I’m strongly against the idea of legalizing human trafficking because it’s going to cause many bad effects on the individual and the society. Legalizing human trafficking would give a chance to increase the amount of the crime, expand the black market, and cause people to hold grudges upon one another.  Preventing human trafficking would be helpful for us as a people who want to live safely.
It is not right and well-thought to legalize human trafficking because it will cause more crime  and stressful lives for people. There could be some evil people who are going to exploit the legalizing of human trafficking and try to kill other people to get what they want.  As we know there are good and bad people every where. Legalizing human trafficking would give the criminal opportunity to do whatever he or she wants for their  own benefit. Consequently the amount of the crime will increase, and that’s what we are trying to prevent .Usually crimes happen at night when it is dark and people are resting. That is not as dangerous for those people who would not mind staying home at night and forget about having fun until late. But, how about those people who have to work at night and what if there are any emergences that may cause some people to go out during the night such as going to a hospital? Will they have to get accustomed to living and working nervously almost every day?
According to professor Janice Raymond  “Legalization led to open season on prostituted women in the Netherlands. Organized crime took over the sex industry, and this is the main reason why thirty percent of the window brothels have recently been shuttered by the mayor of Amsterdam. Because they had become a haven for traffickers and unsafe for women, Amsterdam and Rotterdam have also closed down their tipple zones -- what some call tolerance zones, but in truth are out-and-out sacrifice zones where certain women can be bought and sold.”(online)  According to the definitions used by the institutions carrying out the research and also due to the clandestine nature of the phenomenon “12.3 million Victims of forced labor are estimated in the world today, of whom some 2.45 million are trafficked according to ILO. Of these, most are trafficked into forced labor for commercial sexual exploitation, while one third are trafficked for other economic exploitation. Over half of the persons subject to forced economic exploitation, and almost all those subject to forced commercial sexual exploitation, are women. 700,000 to two million are trafficked across international borders annually, an estimate advanced by the United Nations Population Fund. The US Department of State has estimated 600,000 to 800,000 men, women, and children trafficked across international borders each year; approximately 80 percent are women and girls. UNICEF reports that across the world, there are over one million children entering the sex trade every year and that approximately 30 million children have lost their childhood through sexual exploitation over the past 30 years''.
Another reason why human trafficking should not be legalized is the probability of having the black market expanded. This is a reason that people who disagree and prefer having the organs for sale might want to seriously consider. Due to the fact that selling organs may cause bigger black markets, selling organs should be illegal. This is a part of human trafficking that people use whether to get a part of the body to sell or to get more money.
According to Amy Lieberman “Approximately 5 to 10 percent of kidney transplantations each year come from forced trafficking .The Global Observatory on Donation and Transplantation estimates that around 68,000 kidney transplantations occur every year. This equates to approximately 3,400–6,800 kidney transplants per year from human trafficking.
The black market destroys many people and could ruin societies and creates aggressiveness. If organs were for sale is not  a chance of having more crimes and victims? The chances of having a killer and many  victims  people are  increaseing, and this way is not going to do any good for  the countries and does not support their  societies nor the development.
Furthermore, Gary Becker said, “another criticism of markets in organs is that people would be kidnapped for their organs and that totalitarian governments would sell organs for prisoners”. Selling organs just makes things frightful and makes people hold grudges upon one another since there will be people whom are going to be a victims of that. The fear and scarce of many people would spread, which is not good  for children to learn those matters or  go through experiences like those.
Moreover, if children undergo any of those terrifying issues, then they are either going to end up with being criminals or have scary lives that are not the best. That is absolutely not an encouragement to raise children to be productive citizens in their futures and help their countries civilize.
After knowing the first two consequences from legalizing human trafficking here is another essential point that would happen:  holding grudges upon one another. We live in society that has rich, middle, and poor classes. If human trafficking were legal rich people are going to afford whatever they want especially the human body organs field.
Poor people tend to be sicker and have more diseases than rich and middle class people . The reason for saying that is as known poor people usually live in bad neighborhoods and their living conditions tend to be sort of bad and unclean and it is easier to get diseases in those societies rather than those of cleaner societies. The selling of orgnas to the unfortunate is unlikely because the rich people will get what they want : money would buy anyhting .Also, the reason for saying that organs are costly is that everywhere it is well-known  that organs are not easy to get and for that reason, the rich are going to use this strategy  anyways to get either the money or the organs .
Therefore, organs are definitely going to be very expensive to buy since they are hard to get, and that would open an area for people who are in a favor of legalizing human trafficking. Does anyone think that it is fair to make life more difficult for poor people from getting health care compared to rich people who easily get what they want due to the money they have? Well, to be fair and have people treated the same , poor people will hold  grudges upon rich people.  After knowing this reason, human trafficking should be illegal and we have to prevent it so that people will have lovely and friendly lives.
In conclusion, there have been explanations for the reasons why human trafficking should not be legal. All that is written above are possibilites, increasing the amount of crime something that we don’t want  to happen since there are many organizations working against that. Moreover stopping human trafficking is a way to prevent the black market. and prevent  people from getting involved neither in being worried about not having the financial abilities to buy organs nor having frightening lives from murderers.

on line .. homework

1- how do you format the first page of your paper ?

1. Paper

Use clean, good quality 8 1/2" x 11" white paper, one side only.

2. Margins

Leave margins of your essay 1" (2.5 cm) at the top, bottom, left and right sides of each and every page. 1" is about 10 typed spaces.  Exception is made for page numbers which are placed 1/2" (1.25 cm) from the top upper-right hand corner, flushed to the right margin.

3. Title Page

A title page is not essential for a research paper unless specifically requested by your teacher. The MLA Handbook provides a general guideline on writing a research paper and documenting sources. In case of conflict, you should always follow guidelines set down by your teacher.
If you don't have a title page, you may begin 1" from the top of the first page of your essay and start typing your name flush against the left margin. Then under your name, on separate lines, double-spaced, and flush against the left margin, type your teacher's name, your course code, and the date.
If your teacher prefers that the first page of your essay not be numbered, you will begin numbering with page 2.
Double-space after the date. On a new line, center the title of your essay. If you have a long title, double-space between lines of the title.
Example:

2- how do you use an in text citation ?

  • 1
Locate your work cited (the sources you used on your paper). The basic in-text citation is done by placing the author's last name and page number in parentheses at the end of the sentence like this: (Rollins 45).

  • 2
Place an "and" or a comma in between the last names of a work written by two or more authors. An example of this would be (Rollins and Williams 234) or (Rollins, Williams, and Thomas 265).

  • 3
Identify whether or not a particular author has two or more different works in your source list. If so, add the underlined book titled after the author's name and before the page number. Underline the word "Amazonia" in this example: (Rollins, Amazonia 200).

  • 4
Achieve an in-text citation of two or more sources in a single reference by separating the author's name by a semicolon. An example of this would be: (Rollins 200; Williams 157).

  • 5
Cite an anonymous source by placing the title of the anonymous work in quotations. An example of the proper way to do this is as follows: ("Little River" 23).

  • 6
Cite a multi-volume source by placing the volume number followed by a colon and then the page number. The way this source is cited is: (4: 12-13).

  • Read more: How to Do an In-Text Citation | eHow.com http://www.ehow.com/how_4810147_do-intext-citation.html#ixzz10NKOWoLX

3- how do you format along quote ?

Most quotes are worked smoothly into a paragraph, but there is an exception. If a quote takes up more than four full lines of typed text in your document, it is formatted differently. First, the entire quote is indented one inch (or ten spaces if using a typewriter) while the right margin remains the same. The quotation is still double-spaced just like everything else in the paper. If your long quote includes more than one paragraph, indent each paragraph an additional quarter-inch, or three spaces. Also, this indented format tells your reader it is a direct quotation, so no quotation marks are used. And finally, the parenthetical citation is placed two spaces after the period at the end of the quotation. More often than not, the quote is introduced with a colon. Here is an example:

One of the most famous opening paragraphs in English literature is the catalogue of paradoxes with which  Dickens begins A Tale of Two Cities:

The quote is double spaced and indented 1" on the left from the rest of the body of the paper.  The right margin remains the same, and the in text citation goes outside the period
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness . . . in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only. (1).

When using a modern word processor like Microsoft Word, the easiest way to format a long quote is as follows:
After typing your paper, if the quote is longer than four typed lines, isolate it from the rest of the text by placing the cursor at the beginning of the quote and pressing the Enter key to start it on a new line. Position the cursor at the end of the quote and press Enter to separate the quote completely from the rest of the text.
Now that the quote is separated from the body of the paper, select (highlight) the quote. Now drag the left margin tab over one inch to the right. The word processor will re-format the highlighted text to fit the new margin, without affecting the margins of the rest of the paper.
Be sure to erase the quote marks, and be sure the in text citing information is outside the period. Any words quoted within the inset are set off by regular quotation marks.
4- how do you format a work citied page ?

    Format the Works Cited page
On (a) separate page(s) at the end of your paper, list alphabetically by author every work cited in your paper, using the basic forms illustrated on the previous pages.
List only those sources you actually cited in your paper.
As illustrated on the previous pages, the rule for referring to material in an indirect or secondhand source--that is, for citing when you have not seen the original but have obtained the information from another document that cited the original source--is to list the source your have seen, not the original.

    Title
Title the page Works Cited (not Bibliography), at the top of a new page, centered.

    Spacing
All entries should be double-spaced, unless your assignment instructs you otherwise.

    Indentation
Begin an entry at the margin; indent the remaining lines five spaces.

    Source Titles
Underline or italicize titles of books, periodicals, films, and television series (but not individual episodes).

    Electronic sources
As explained in the sixth edition of the MLA Handbook, a citation for an electronic publication typically has more parts than a citation for a print publication does.

For an electronic source, provide five types of information (as available):

    (1) Author's name
    (2) Title
    (3) Information about print publication
    (4) Information about electronic publication
    (5) Information about access

5- hoq do you list a book in your work citied page ?

    Department of State Source

The Department of State is required by law to
submit a Report each year to the U.S. Congress
on foreign governments’ efforts to eliminate
severe forms of trafficking in persons. This Report
is the seventh annual TIP Report. It is intended
to raise global awareness, to highlight efforts of
the international community, and to encourage
foreign governments to take effective actions to
counter all forms of trafficking in persons.
The U.S. law that guides anti-human trafficking
efforts, the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of
2000, as amended (TVPA), states that the purpose
of combating human trafficking is to punish
traffickers, to protect victims, and to prevent
trafficking from occurring. Freeing those trapped
in slave-like conditions is the ultimate goal of this
    Report—and of the U.S. government’s anti-human
    trafficking policy.

    human trafficking

As we know people who are in favor of buying and selling organs would like to do any thing to get what they want and that would create many bad effects on the society . Moreover slavery ,some people on the army, some people who has a higher place in the government has a hand on this issue. many books has mentioned that such as D.P by kurt vonnegut and sex trafficking by Siddharth kara .

    Sex trafficking

    what is sex trafficking ?
    there are two definitions  :

one is slave trading can be defined as the process of acquiring , recruiting, harboring, receiving, or transporting an individual, through any means and for any distance, into a condition of slavery or slave -like exploitation.

slavery can be defined as the process of coercing labor or other services from a captive individual, through any means, including exploitation of bodies or body parts .
